Our Meerkats Students, teachers and graduates at googoo
Published 14 October 2026 / Meerkat Cafe googoo, Kichijoji, Tokyo
At googoo we introduce our meerkats as a school, “googoo Gakuen”. Our meerkat list uses these words:
- Students — meerkats living at the cafe that we sell. Each one is listed with a name, photos (some are still being prepared) and price. Sales are made in person at the cafe, after a face-to-face explanation.
- Teachers — meerkats who stay at googoo for good and help raise the babies.
- Not for sale — meerkats who live at the cafe but are not for sale.
- Graduates — meerkats whose new families have been decided.
See them all on the meerkat list (in Japanese).
Meeting them at the cafe
You can spend time with the meerkats at the cafe from 30 minutes (1,650 yen per person, plus one drink from 550 yen, tax included). You don't need to be thinking about buying a meerkat to visit.
