After Inokashira Park Somewhere indoors on the way back to the station

The way back from Inokashira Park to Kichijoji Station goes through the Park Exit (South Exit). googoo is one minute from that exit, on your way back to the station.
Why it works after the park
- It's indoors — somewhere to go if it suddenly starts to rain (see Kichijoji on a rainy day).
- You can sit down — walking around the park is more tiring than it seems.
- It's short — plans start at 30 minutes, so it fits around your train.
Coming in the late afternoon
Park visits often end in the late afternoon. Check the last entry first: 18:30 for 30 minutes, 18:00 for 60, 17:30 for 90 and 17:00 for 120. If you arrive at 18:20, you can come in for 30 minutes, but not for 60.
What googoo is
A cafe dedicated to meerkats — opened in October 2023 as the first of its kind in Japan (our own research).
- Open 11:00–19:00, every day
- 30 minutes 1,650 yen per person (tax included), plus one drink per person from 550 yen (tax included)
- No age limit; children of elementary-school age and younger must be with an adult
